NP Counter Russian device for measuring number concentration of nanoparticles in liquid media
NP Counter (NP VISION LLC, Russia) measures the number concentration of nanoparticles in liquid media using a direct method. Its operation is based on the principle of ultramicroscopy, which allows visualizing nanoparticles dispersed in liquid. The measurement process takes several minutes, requires no expensive consumables, and offers high accuracy and reproducibility of results.
The ultramicroscopy method allows measuring the number concentration of nanoparticles in liquid media. This experimental method was developed by Richard Zsigmondy, who received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for this work in 1925. This method is a type of optical microscopy with a special way of illuminating the sample using a laser.
Software The “NP Vision” software, specially developed for this method, allows finding images corresponding to scattering from nanoparticles in each video frame according to user-specified parameters and counting them.
We provide a wide range of technical services for our device: commissioning, on-site user training, diagnostics, warranty and post-warranty repair. Our service engineers participate in the development and assembly of devices, and the production complex is located in Russia, which together enables qualified and immediate assistance in technical maintenance.
